photog

well. I'm already considering my new years resolution.
I'm basically thinking.. to have a direction for my blog. haha. I am definetly one of those people who writes a blog about nothing. so very sienfeld. So, as a joint effort to kickstart my photography skillz and fashion enthusiasm, i'm thinking a fashion photography blog...
I have partially Tiffany to thank, and if i knew how to insert her blog site by using her name i would, but she's found at
www.girlinthecityvancouver.blogspot.com

Although i'm yet to take any fashion pics using a NON-point and shoot camera...tis to come. For the time being i'm going to try and just post some pics to get the ball rolling.
... happy dec 17th. one week to go before santa!

friday night yo

sex and the city has somehow reminded me of all the things that are wrong with my life... and yet somehow also of the things that are so right.

i've now watched the movie 4 times in less then one week. i blame this on the fact that i dont have the series ep. 1-6 available to me. (as they are held hostage at my storage locker). and after exhausting Arrested Development, i need my ladies back.

I'm constantly finding myself in the midst of an epiphany these days. and somehow just when i think i get it, i'm reminded of how unpredictable life can be.

I think i'm on the brink of something big. i might be on the edge of a serious cliff, but somehow i also feel like i've been living in an eternal cliff HANGER that now, it's time to just take the leap. jump in. both feet. tread water and survive. it can't be that bad, right??

i've been back in vancouver for 10 days. I'm already plotting my plan of escape. not from vancouver, but of the chuckhole it has me in.
vitamin D is my new drug of choice.

working on Supernatural was great. The guys on that show are awesome. Working sunday for Frankie and Alice might not prove to be as amazing, but it's a cash cow none the less. i'll take it.

I really want to take pictures. for a living. moving or still really. movies are great, but photos are still calling my name.

i'm broke and need money. I'm sure there's a way to work and be comfortable with what you have. i'm looking...

happy friday. :) katie

week one (and a half)

here we go monday!

Home alone on a lazy and boring monday morning. The grey skies are so ugly. seriously it makes me want to draw a giant sunshine on the curtain and close them. at least it's not raining. or minus 10. :)

I'm spending my morning scouring craigslist for jobs and apartments and photo equipment. On second thought today would probably be a great day for taking pictures... worlds biggest bounce right outside my door!
I'm also internet shopping for xmas gifts... surprises await.

Today I also must hit my storage locker for some necessities. Yoga mat, gym bag, stockings, and christmas deco! time to amp this bachelor pad up a notch. it's freaking christmas time! A few colorful lights to go with the scull/pirate banners. maybe even a santa hat or two ;p

happy december 8th!

warmer hearts, grayer skies

hello world... and most importantly Vancouver dear.

she's landed and she's back in the 3120 Knight st. homestead. So many things are on the horizon now it's hard to really get a grip on even unpacking.

Dman is happy... working... and a sight for sore eyes to his lonely heart girlfriend. hearts and rainbows. ex's and oh's.

I had a lovely (well, brutal... but relieving) massage from Sarah today... got my car back on the road... and am heading out to Yuk Yuks for a night of comedy for Alex's bday.

Tomorrow night is Pot Luck at Ali's... I've been scouring the desserts on the web and i still haven't decided what to do. I think i'll be brining more then one. :)

I got a call today for work on 2012. (farewell atlantis)... it was a freaking SWEET call... just unloading their second unit truck. would have been nice to monopolize on the big budget while it's in town, but unfortunately, i've got other plans. :) spending money and avoiding real life phone calls. hells bells.

just a quick update all. hope life is grand in your respective neighborhoods. Here comes santa clause!
